In a change of plan from last year we have decided to move the afterparty for the Boat Party on the 2nd August to a new private, Vikings only venue. For those of you who attended the Coordinated Halloween Party you will know the London Stone well for those of you that didn’t it’s a one of a kind gothic (or Viking) themed bar complete with new kick ass soundsystem and a 24 hour license. Even better it is only 3 tube stops or a short walk away from Temple Pier
The venue will be devoted entirely to members of the boat party ensuring we can carry on in style in our own intimate venue, drinks prices also very reasonable!

Entry will be £4 when bought with a boat ticket, otherwise £5, for those that have already bought after party tickets at £8 via the website will get a refund onto the credit card that you paid with and an e-mail shortly to explain.

Time: 0000 - when ever we want :)

Many thanks to all those who made it down to our events so far this year. The feedback we’ve had from everything is amazing - everyone always seems to have a great time and the DJs have always played world class sets.

However, now it’s time to move onwards to bigger things…this year’s boat party, so without further ado, let us present:

Coordinated On Thames 4 – The Vikings Invade…..

After the sell out success of last years Wild West Party, we are pleased to announce that there will be another suitably ridiculous event on Saturday 2nd August 2008. Coordinated-on-Thames 4: The Vikings Invade, featuring two floors of music playing the best in house and breaks, plus a large sundeck.

Upstairs, the Coordinators will be joined by the legendary Shur-I-Kan whose outstanding form on Freerange records recently has cemented him as one of the most onfire producers of 2008. Just check out his latest Swap Shop EP on Winding Road Records with Milton Jackson if you need any convincing! Back up against the Viking invasion also comes in the form of Udaye Rana who with releases on Twisted Frequency Records is a fine addition to the Coordinated line up.

Downstairs Acidphonic records take control for a serious breakbeat invasion

I think you’ll agree with a line up like this, what better way to spend a Saturday evening than cruising down the thames, drinking some Mead and plotting how you’re going to take over our after-party venue on docking back at Temple Pier! To add a touch of coordinated mayhem to the event you are of course encouraged to turn in with your finest Viking. Be sure to watch out for those Trolls!

After what was by far the best year in the history of Coordinated we are pleased to announce our first big outing of 2008 and we mean BIG!

On Saturday 16th Feb. Coordinated will be hosting the Baby Box for the new Renaissance residency at Ministry of Sound – a big event needs a big star so we’ve enlisted the help of the UK’s hottest new producer and Club Class resident – SAM BALL

Coordinated @ Renaissance / Ministry of Sound

Sam’s debut release ‘Double Vision’ was on the Coordinated favourite Urbantorque label and reached number 4 in the DJ Download chart, he’s certainly no stranger to the scene having been resident alongside Nic Fanciulli at Club Class for the last 3 years and has recently enjoyed the ‘producer profile spot ’ on Radio Ones Trophy Twins show, as you might guess we’re rather excited that he’s agreed to play for us.

Joining Sam for the evening will be uber residents The Coordinators and owner of the best Beetlejuice outifit in London, Tim Cullen.

Sounds good eh? With all this we haven’t even mentioned what’s going on in the main room yet…..with the closure of their monthly home The Cross, superbrand Renaissance are back in town and are bringing along with them the legendary Satoshie Tomeii for a rare London show.

As always we have the cheapest guaranteed entry in town, the Coordinated paying guestlist for this event is priced at just £12 (door price £20), e-mail names to will@coordinated-london.com with SUBJECT “Renaissance” or call 07990 594868 to be added.

BAR
King Unique

Charterhouse Bar, London, EC1
Sat 19th January. 8pm till late

Coordinated are back in 2008 by kicking off our first event with our continued residency at Charterhouse Bar- “How Dirty Is Your House presents….Coordinated”. Taking place on the usual third Saturday of the month (Jan 19th 2008), this is going to be a great party to blow away those winter blues. The venue itself is a great little place with cheap drink promotions and free entry, combine that with our fantastic line-up of DJs and you’re in for a quality night. Pop by and chat to friends, dance on the tables or simply celebrate the weekend or start of 2008 with us, while we spin our usual blend of deep, progressive, tech house.

Sadly we have one piece of gutting news and that’s Will Konitzer who has been running Coordinated with Tim & Carl for the past couple of years, has decided to up and leave us to move to Austin Texas. He’s expected to be gone from anywhere between 6 months to 2 years so we wish him all the best. Don’t despair though because Coordinated events will continue and this does mean that we’re gonna throw Will one hell of a leaving party before he hits that plane on the 20th Jan.

As a special treat for this party, Coordinated are proud to welcome Chris Salt to the Coordinated fold.

Just a month after signing his first record deal in 2003, Chris Salt kicked off an international DJ career with a high profile set, playing the first Saturday night at a prestigious new club in the heart of Shibuya, Tokyo. The night before, Chris had handed a white-label promo of ‘Dub Sonar’ to none other than renowned house DJ Satoshi Tomiie. Taking place on Chris’ 23rd birthday, his set was so well received that the promoters rebooked him two months later.

Back home, the hype surrounding Chris’ productions and projects continued to grow. ‘Dub Sonar’ had received high profile DJ support from Sasha, Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg, Slacker and Jonathan Lisle, and the dance press sat up and took notice. The first single received great reviews in DJ mag, IDJ, DMC Update and M8 magazine, and a full page feature in M8 magazine followed soon after.

Chris’ growing reputation as a prominent producer was solidified further with his remix of Flash Brothers’ ‘Ways’, which again received high profile DJ support from Sasha and further good press in DJ mag and M8 magazine, and the remix even topped the influential Hooj.com weekly chart. By this stage Silver Planet had asked Chris to compile and mix their third instalment of the Fear series, following in the footsteps of James Holden and the Flash Brothers.

The Fear 3 mix compilation was released on the anniversary of his first gig in Tokyo, achieving critical acclaim with the dance press declaring it an outstanding achievement and the best in the series. The release was promoted with a DJ tour spanning several UK dates (Twisted Melon, Empathy and Audio Deluxe) and international bookings in Poland and Turkey.

This also coincided with Silver Planet’s 50th release, which featured the Luke Chable remix of ‘Dub Sonar’ and Chris’ remix of Main Element’s ‘Delta Of Venus’. DJ support came from John Digweed and Steve Smart on Kiss FM, and from Nick Warren who charted it at number two. Chris’ second single, ‘Atmospheric Graffiti’ (debuted at his first gig in Tokyo), was picked up by Anthony Pappa for his Balance 006 compilation, and Nick Warren declared it his tune of 2004.

Chris’ second mix compilation, Future House on Kickin Music, received further good press and distribution deals from major players Universal and JVC. An international DJ tour to promote the release included dates at The Bomb in Nottingham, Turnmills in London, London Calling @ Earl’s Court, L’Enfer Rouge in Prague, Park 97 in Shanghai, Studio 80 in Amsterdam, Secret in Istanbul and Faces in Ankara.

Having played alongside Hybrid, Phil K, Futureshock, Phil Kieran, Slacker, Andy Moor, Ashley Casselle, Jody Wisternoff and Lexicon Avenue, with headline DJ sets in nine different countries and an on-going DJ residency at London’s renowned Electronic Sessions, Chris is now focussing more on his production career. Several new projects will be announced shortly.
