This isn’t just a fancy dress club night, it’s one of the only real Halloween parties in London. Taking place at a themed venue full of gargoyles, gothic arches, fake bookcases and even dry ice in drinks. You should come dressed as anything blood thirsty - Vampires, Warewolfes, Zombies, Ghosts, all are welcome.

The event is FREE to enter, so all we ask is you spread the word and turn up to this night of mayhem prepared to be chilled and thrilled, and..to party all night long.

Friends,

A big thank you to all for your continued support over the last couple of years. We've managed to throw events and play in places we only dreamed of a couple of years ago.

And now, we are proud to announce that we'll be carrying the Coordinated sound further, as we host the first official Coordinated radio show on the world renowned Proton Radio.

Proton Radio is internet broadcasting's gold standard for underground dance music. With a steadfast dedication to provide listeners with the absolute highest quality programming and an emphasis on introducing lesser-known talents, Proton has cultivated an audience of thousands of daily listeners from locations around the globe since 2001.

For our unique show, it's all about deep house, techno and a sprinkling of disco when we take over for our monthly slot. Each Coordinated show features a rotation of either The Coordinators or Will Konitzer, showcasing the latest tunes appearing in their record boxes, followed by a one hour guest mix from one of their favourite DJ's on the circuit.

We've got some fantastic guests lined up over the coming months including the likes of Will Saul, Jay Shepherd, Jim Rivers, Tomoki Tamura, Alex Parsons and many more.

We kick off the first show at 7am BST on Wednesday 8th October with The Coordinators and a featured live extract from their 6 hour set at The End last Saturday in the second hour. We hope you'll be able to tune in and join us for a bumper first show.

It's just over 1 week to go until "Coordinated-on-Thames 4: The Vikings invade". We're a top 100 recommended event by Time Out, so if you're still sitting on the fence about getting tickets, now is the time to get involved.

Many thanks to all those who made it down to our events so far this year, highlights for us have been supporting Renaissance @ Ministry of Sound and an awesome set from Jay Shepheard for our debut at AKA last month.
However, now it's time to move onwards to bigger things...this year's boat party, so without further ado, let us present:

Coordinated On Thames 4 � The Vikings Invade�..

After the sell out success of last years Wild West Party, we are pleased to announce that there will be another suitably ridiculous event on Saturday 2nd August 2008. Coordinated-on-Thames 4: The Vikings Invade, featuring two floors of music playing the best in house and breaks, plus a large sundeck.

Upstairs, The Coordinators will be joined by the legendary Shur-I-Kan whose outstanding form on Freerange records recently has cemented him as one of the most onfire producers of 2008. Just check out his latest Swap Shop EP on Winding Road Records with Milton Jackson if you need any convincing! Back up against the Viking invasion also comes in the form of Udaye Rana who with releases on Twisted Frequency Records is a fine addition to the Coordinated line up.

Downstairs Acidphonic records take control for a serious breakbeat invasion

I think you'll agree with a line up like this, what better way to spend a Saturday evening than cruising down the thames, drinking some Mead and plotting how you�re going to take over Ministry of Sound on docking back at Temple Pier! To add a touch of coordinated mayhem to the event you are of course encouraged to turn in with your finest Viking outfit . Be sure to watch out for those Trolls!

This year the afterparty will again be held at Ministry of Sound for those who just don't want to stop. We'll be hosting the lounge all night at this world famous venue, while Kenny Dope Gonzalez and the Defected crew take over the main room.

After a little hiatus, Coordinated is back with a fresh new attitude for 2008.

First up, we’ve revamped our website, so please pop by, have a look around and tell us what you think.

Coordinated are back in 2008 by kicking off our first event with our continued residency at Charterhouse Bar- “How Dirty Is Your House presents....Coordinated”. Taking place on the usual third Saturday of the month (Jan 19th 2008), this is going to be a great party to blow away those winter blues. The venue itself is a great little place with cheap drink promotions and free entry, combine that with our fantastic line-up of DJs and you’re in for a quality night. Pop by and chat to friends, dance on the tables or simply celebrate the weekend or start of 2008 with us, while we spin our usual blend of deep, progressive, tech house.

Sadly we have one piece of gutting news and that’s Will Konitzer who has been running Coordinated with Tim & Carl for the past couple of years, has decided to up and leave us to move to Austin Texas. He’s expected to be gone from anywhere between 6 months to 2 years so we wish him all the best. Don’t despair though because Coordinated events will continue and this does mean that we’re gonna throw Will one hell of a leaving party before he hits that plane on the 20th Jan.

As a special treat for this party, Coordinated are proud to welcome Chris Salt to the Coordinated fold.

Having played alongside Hybrid, Phil K, Futureshock, Phil Kieran, Slacker, Andy Moor, Ashley Casselle, Jody Wisternoff and Lexicon Avenue, with headline DJ sets in nine different countries and an on-going DJ residency at London's renowned Electronic Sessions, Chris is going to completely rock out party!

This is the last call for discounted tickets for the Coordinated Christmas Party at Ministry of Sound tomorrow (8th Dec). If you're still undecided, all I can say is don't be. From London to Mexico, Dublin to Shanghai, Amsterdam to Novi Sad, Jim Rivers has been there, bringing the world his techy, glitchy, groovy electronic house music � and in just over a week it�s all about to get crazier as he comes to London to head up Coordinated at the Ministry of Sound. Since releasing his debut EP on the respected SAW Recordings in 2006 (�Restore/Future� EP), Jim has continued to build his reputation with releases on labels such as Global Underground and Renaissance, and remixes for the likes of Nic Fanciulli and Gabriel and Dresden, all of which demonstrate Jim�s unique style and take on dance music today. Speaking about his debut EP, SAW records owner, Satoshi Tomiie said:

"Jim Rivers is the man to watch. His Restore EP which we have received as a demo, and we were amazed by hearing that they are his first production. We snatched straight away for SAW and it is a very rare case for us to do from the demos we are getting. I am impressed by his ever improving skill".

More recently Jim's 2nd EP for Saw, 'I Go Deep' received critical acclaim in the dance music press as well as making the top 10 of the Beatport tech house chart for 3 weeks, peaking at number 3, and being supported across the board by some of the worlds biggest DJ's and taste makers. However, its not just Jim's production that�s been catching peoples ears. The last few months have seen Jim gigging all over the world in some of the best nightclubs. Whether it�s a beach party in Athens, Pacha in Sao Paulo or a dark sweaty club in Moscow, Jim has been taking his sound and vibe to dancefloors across the globe and getting rave reviews along the way.

With the launch of Jim�s own label, Misfit Records, in late 2007, a host of new productions for labels such as SIMPLE and Mode, and continued touring, Jim is without doubt one of the brightest prospects of the UK scene at the moment...we thought we �d catch up with Jim and talk to him about 2007, vodka and beer....

How did you first get into electronic dance music?

My ears first caught onto the trance stuff that was coming out in 97 - ferry corsten and all that - when it was good ;-) - and i used to buy cds and stuff, but the big influence was going to Club Class in Maidstone week in week out and seeing some of the biggest names play. That had a really big impact on me then...

Has it always been Jim Rivers the DJ - when did the time come in to jack in the day job and was it an easy decision?

Ha, good question...these days its not as easy to make good money out of music, but i came to a point where i either had to go for it or not bother. So in some respects it was a no brainer as this is what ive worked hard for, but its still a big risk! Its been a good year and i think 2008 will be even better for me, so fingers crossed!

You really broke out of the underground with your Restore EP on Satoshie Tomei�s SAW label, how did it feel to get that kind of major recognition and two tracks featured on his Renaissance mix?

Restore and Future were the first 2 tracks that I ever sent out. I just sent a cheeky email to a few labels and Saw were the first people to ring me. They signed the tracks and then Satoshi told me he wanted them both for his comp - looking back now, i had a great start with that signing and it was really exciting to see my music get out to so many ears so soon.

Your new label �Misfit� is in the process of starting up, what�s the plan with that is it for your own releases or do you already have artists signed up?

Misfit is something I have wanted to do for years. Its going to be the main outlet for my stuff. The first 3 releases are ready so im writing more new material at the mo. I think in the 2nd half of 2008 you can expect to see some new artists on my label. I will see how things start off first! The first release 'The Brassed Off EP' is out on the 3rd of December, so keep your eyes peeled!

You�ve recently been touring round South America, sounds pretty amazing, what�s the scene like there compared with the UK?

Yeah ive been to a lot of new places in the last few months which has been great. The South Americans love a party, so it was a great experience in Brasil and Mexico to play. Getting to play at Pacha was great and had me pinching myself if im honest!

So what can we look forward to from Jim Rivers over the next few months?

Lots of stuff..some of which I have to keep under wraps at the mo im afraid! But you can expect a steady flow of stuff from me on Misfit. Im gonna try and do a few different things as the label develops, so that should show people what im about. Also im doing an EP for Will Saul's excellant Simple imprint which im really excited about as well as more tracks with Paolo Mojo and various remixes too. Plus i will be touring around showing some Jim Rivers love at a dancefloor near you!

You�re predominantly known as a producer so for those of us that don�t know, how would you describe your DJ�ing style?

Thats the way it goes these days...ive been a DJ for over 10 years and only now beacuse of the tunes am I getting chance to show people what I can do! I play across the board really. If i had to describe it then its definately tech influened stuff. I love stuff that grooves as well as some deepness action in there too. But being a resident in Bristol at Empathy I have learnt to play all sorts, before and after the guest, so i hopefully can adapt to different situations.

You�ll be headlining the Coordinated Christmas party in the Baby Box at Ministry of Sound on December 8th in London. Which tracks and producers will you favour for this party?

Thats a tough question. For me there is so much good music about at the moment. I will play a lot of my own stuff but also people like Shlomi Aber, Dusty Kid, Dubfire, Mark Knight, Gui Borrato - I could go on for ages! I like to think I play quality music whatever the style so hopefully that will do the business...

What�s you opinion on DJ technology, do you still use vinyl or have you been seduced by the current Ableton trend � where do you see the future?

I use cds at the moment, just find that easiest for me. I do think that very soon it will all be computer based, especially for DJs that travel alot - makes a lot of sense. And in the right hands there are new levels that can be achieved with this technology...i think that the people who just want to diss the technology are being a a bit quick to judge....im all about embracing that stuff as I plan to be around for a while!

For all the wanna be producers, what�s you�re favourite bit of kit at the moment?

Without doubt for me its my Mac and Logic. I dont care what anyone says - you can make great music on a simple set up now...its about the ideas, not how flash your gear is or how many original moogs you have in the corner - as musch as they are legendary and sound great! Most of the nu breed of prodcer/DJs work on simple setups but know how to use it well and have great ideas. It takes time to get stuff sounding good, but at the end of the day if you write quality stuff people will notice....

Afterparty or home, and vodka or beer?

Mmmm...tricky. Totally depends how i feel, if i've been away a lot then it would be home and bed....last weekend was the opposite in serbia, afterparty and straight to the airport! Can i have a super shandy? That way I can have beer and vods....but im a whiskey man at heart - so remember that for the 8th!!
