Coordinated Boat Party Flyer 2007

After the sell out success of last years Pirate Party, we are pleased to announce that there will be another suitably ridiculous event on Saturday 11th August 2007. Coordinated on Thames 3 – The Wild West, featuring two floors of music playing the best in house and breaks, plus a large sundeck.

Upstairs, the Coordinators (aka Tim Dingley and Carl Sutherland) will be joined by upcoming hereos Anil Chawla & Mark Sun.

Downstairs our resident Shakey Breakfoot Band are joined by boat party veterans, Far Too Loud.

I think you’ll agree with a line up like this, what better way to spend a Saturday evening than cruising down the thames ‘avin it! To add a touch of coordinated mayhem to the event you are encouraged to turn in with your finest wild west attire. Be sure to watch out for those cow girls.

This year there will also be an after-party at the Ministry of Sound for those who just don’t want to stop.

MEDICINE BAR, SHOREDITCH
89 Great Eastern Street, London, EC2A 3HX

On Friday July 1st we return to the Medicine Bar Shoreditch with our most exciting line up to date. Down in the basement we have Mixmag Future Hero, Anil Chawla.
Ministry of Sound radio star Anil has recently been seen tearing up the dance floor wherever he’s booked, from the Honey Club in Brighton all the way up to the Tribal Sessions at Sankeys Soap. Frequently spotted in London behind the decks at Turnmills and many a boat party on the Thames, Anil is on the up in a big way and certainly one to watch. What’s more he will be celebrating his birthday, so don’t expect a sober head in sight!
Residents Tim Dingley and Carl Sutherland will join Anil along side the rhythmic presence of Bongoman on percussion.

The 1st floor of the Medicine Bar sees the debut of a new dimension to our nights, ‘Coordinated Breaks’. Headlining the breaks floor we’ve pulled out all the stops and brought you one of the worlds leading breaks DJ’s and producers Chris Carter [TCR/Record/Roxiller]. Chris Carter is generally regarded as one of breakbeat’s most creative and talented artists. From his early work on Botchit with partner BLIM, to his latest releases on labels like Forged and TCR, Chris brings a distinct sound that incorporates his diverse musical influences and cutting edge production.
Chris will be joined by up and coming talent Hotrox whose sets with live saxophone from Mr Cash, are guaranteed to bring innovation and a smile to your face.
