Jamm, London,
Sat 9th June. 9pm till 6am

This is a rare opportunity to come and see one of the founding members of the modern music scene – Dave Seaman – for under a tenner!

Coordinated have very kindly been asked to help Twisted Melon return to Jamm on Saturday 9th June and celebrate their 5th & final birthday. The massive Dave Seaman (Renaissance/Audio Therapy) has kindly agreed to headline with a 3-hour set, which is very nice indeed.

As a bit of background, Dave Seaman is one of the original pioneers of house music. He has been playing for over 25 years, was the first editor of the clubbers bible, Mixmag, and has remixed and produced for everybody from U2 to Kylie and David Bowie to the Pet Shop Boys. He has also done over 20 mix compilations for the likes of Global Underground and Renaissance, been the main man behind the independent music labels, Stress Records and Audio Therapy and still found time to model for Levi’s in Japan, present TV programmes for the BBC and tour the world probably more than any other DJ.

So as you can see, we’re most impressed that Twisted Melon have bagged Dave for the night, especially as the intimate venue of Jamm only takes 500 people (so get your tickets quick). Mr. Seaman will be joined in the main room by the Disposable DJs, Jay Grant, Mork, Francis Allen and Stu Crosbie.

In the second room Twisted Melon have handed over the reins to fellow promoters Smug v Coordinated (that would be us then), as well as Fishnights and good friend and loose cannon, Adrian Dickinson

It’s going to be a biggy so whether you’re a regular, an ex-regular or have never sampled the delights of an event we’re involved with, we want to see you! Tickets are available from Ticketweb now.

Charterhouse Bar, London, EC1
Sat 17th March. 7pm till late

Because St. Paddys day sounds better with us!

Coordinated return to Charterhouse Bar yet again for “How Dirty Is Your House” on Sat, 17th March . This is a more relaxed affair than our usual events, were you can bask in luxurious surroundings, play some cards, chat to friends or simply celebrate St. Patrick’s day with us, while we spin our usual blend of funky, progressive and tech house. If nothing else, this is a great place to start your night, especially with its cheap drink prmotions.

As a special treat this month, Coordinated are proud to be headlining Mork – one of London’s leading progressive house DJs.

For the past year Mork’s been busy playing all over the capital for events such as Heat at Turnmills or Push at the White House, as well as smaller, intimate affairs in venues such as the Living bar or Leopard Lounge. No stranger to the dance scene, he pinpoints 1996, and listening to Oakenfold’s ‘Perfecto Fluoro’ as the defining moment that laid the foundations of his DJ career. However, it wasn’t until 2002 that he first turned his hand to mixing and quickly formed and promoted the ‘Six Degrees’ (www.six-degrees.co.uk) as a way of bringing his unique sound to the mainstream. The Six Degrees became popular for it’s fusion of different genres of house music, culminating in the infamous back-to-back, driving prog sets of Mork and Davey G. These days, Mork focuses more on DJ’ing than promoting and draws inspiration from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Satoshi Tomiie and Max Graham, creating a more varied sound incorporating electro, tech and even funky house, though never straying too far from his roots. Expect bold bass lines, rolling beats and strong melodies.
